Biography
Phillip Kelly (Associate) was raised in Canal Winchester, Ohio. He received his B.A. in Political Science from Ohio Dominican University where he was on Dean's List and captain of the men's soccer team. Mr. Kelly then attended the University of Dayton School of Law (UDSL), receiving CALI (highest grade) awards in Fundamentals of Evidence, Business Organizations, Wills & Trusts, Transactional Drafting, Professional Responsibility, and Bar Practice & Process. Mr. Kelly received his J.D., graduating magna cum laude and sixth in his class. While attending UDSL, Mr. Kelly served as a staff writer on the University of Dayton Law Review and as an Associate Justice of Intramural Competitions on the Moot Court Board. In competitions, Mr. Kelly was awarded Runner-up - Best Oralist in the Walter H. Rice Moot Court Competition and Runner-up - Best Brief in the Region Six NYC Bar Moot Court Competition. Mr. Kelly has been inducted into the National Order of Barristers. Prior to joining Mowery, Youell & Galeano, Ltd., Mr. Kelly was a judicial extern at the Ohio Second District Court of Appeals. His practice area is civil litigation.
