Biography

Julia graduated cum laude from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, where she earned a Certificate in Dispute Resolution and a designation of Public Service Fellow with Recognition. Julia served as a mediator in small claims court and as a certified legal intern for the Ohio Department of Commerce – Division of Liquor Control and the Entrepreneurial Business Law Clinic. She also worked with the Divided Community Project, assisting a team of conflict experts in training university staff and law enforcement to respond to community civil rights disputes.

Julia joined Mowery, Youell & Galeano in March 2026 as an associate attorney. She brings to the firm experience in complex domestic litigation; motions and trial practice; mediation and settlement negotiations; and contract drafting. She also enjoys the challenges of financial investigations and novel questions of law. A proud step-parent, Julia particularly values opportunities to help clients as their families grow and change.
